Good Afternoon Edgewood IB Families,


No School on Monday - We are on B week and Seniors have finals this week.  Wednesday is 8th grade Knotts Trip & PTSA is sponsoring Lunch and Music for middle school students.  Thursday is College Gear Day and Friday is Edgewood Blue PRIDEday and Seniors will be participating in Cap and Gown Walk to Orangewood and Edgewood Middle School beginning at 8:30.  Saturday at 11 am is Senior Reflections. Lastly, we are on Finals Schedule  the last week of school, link for the schedule is included.

Did you know?

  • 1 in 5 children ages 13-18 have or will have a serious mental health condition.  
  • About 37% of students ages 14+ with a mental health condition will drop out of school.
  • 50% of adults with mental illness reported having symptoms by age 14.
  • Suicide is the third-leading cause of death for 10-24 years old.
  • About 20% of youth ages 13-18 experience mental disorders.

Edgewood High School NAMI On Campus High School Club’s main purpose is to create awareness and dialogue on campus about mental health and well-being while assisting in eliminating the stigma of mental illness through support, advocacy, and education. In joining Edgewood High School NAMI On Campus High School Club, students will learn about mental health, warning signs of mental illness, and how to be a supportive friend. This club is not a support or therapy group.


NCHS Edgewood High School and NAMI San Gabriel Valley have a commitment to support mental health awareness for our community.
